Alternatives Logo by abnormalbrain
Alternatives Logo
This was pitched for a Massachusetts-based nonprofit that finds employment opportunities for disabled persons. It needed to use some version of the infinity symbol (∞), and create a sense of friendliness and clean modernity.
Blustocking Bombers by abnormalbrain
Blustocking Bombers
2-color roller derby logo, for shirts. Needed to show high stockings, and a girl reading. I added the bombs and the target for graphic effect.
Mister Smartass Logo by abnormalbrain
Mister Smartass Logo
Single color logo for a local comedy group. This logo needed to quickly convey the ideas of 'film', low-fidelity, and silly irreverence. I moved the asterisk to the wrong part of the dirty word, because hey, comedy!
LeShane CPAs by abnormalbrain
LeShane CPAs
Conservative, clean logo for a CPA office that wants to convey the ideas of 'easygoing' and 'competence'. Office is located in the seaside community of St Augustine FL.
Barry Communications Logo by abnormalbrain
Barry Communications Logo
This logo needed to create a sense of cleanliness, white trucks, considerate personnel, and wire-free connectivity. So I offered a thin font with a solid, strong 'power-on' style symbol, floating to demonstrate wirelessness.

Derek Ring
Artist | Professional | Digital Art
United States
Derek Ring is a commercial illustrator who designs Halloween masks and props, illustrates games, comics, silkscreens, skateboards, and whatever else seems interesting this week. He has exhibited his work in New York, Boston and and his home town of Worcester. Ladies love him, girls adore him. Even the ones who never saw him like the way that he rhymes at a show. The reason why, man, I don't know.
Hey Deviant-Tarts! Anyone in the Boston area this weekend might be interested in stopping by the gallery opening at Space 242, Friday, January 29. 6-8pm, 242 E. Berkeley St, Boston. Great gallery and I've seen most of the robot-themed pieces, a very cool show, in which I have a few pieces. Also- it's sponsored by Harpoon, so free beer if you're over 21. Just RSVP at the website below if you're coming.
  • Mood: Wow!
  • Listening to: Wolfmother
  • Reading: Tank Girl: The Odyssey
  • Watching: The Man from Earth
  • Playing: Batman: Arkham Something or other

Hey Derek, I see Chikara and Rotary Games are bringing Rudo Resurrection to Kickstarter. Are you in on any of that?
